How to place my order on your website?All orders and payments are processed via our website. We have made it very simple for you to place your order online. First select your favourite cake /cupcakes, size, extras. Then select the delivery/pick up date and proceed to payment.

Do you take large corporate order?Yes most definitely, simply email us at hello@cakesonline.co.nz and the team will get back to you asap.

I have made a mistake on my order, can I make changes?Please email us at hello@cakesonline.co.nz with the changes and your order number. All changes need to be confirmed by us, therefore simply “letting us know” by email without confirmation from us will not suffice. 24 hours' notice is required from your designated delivery time.

What payment methods are available?We accept Mastercard, Visa, Amex, Laybuy & Afterpay.

Will you include a receipt or any billing information with the order?We do not include any prices, receipts or billing information, order confirmation will be emailed to you after your purchase.

How to add the discount code?Discount code can be added on the delivery checkout page. *Please note: Coupon cannot be used in conjunction with other coupons. Also, coupon code cannot be used for click & collect orders.

Where do you deliver to?We delivery Auckland wide or you can collect from us in St John’s. On the checkout you can enter your postcode to confirm if you are within our delivery zone. If you are between Warkworth and Pokeno and your postcode does not work please contact us to check if we cna deliver to you.

Do you offer same day delivery?We currently offer next day delivery. Order by 6pm the previous day for next day delivery Monday to Friday. We will deliver your cake between TBC and your TBC. We are currently not offering weekend deliveries or collection.

What are your delivery times?Monday to Friday between X and X time. Delays may occur, due to heavy traffic or road incidents, however we will do our best to deliver close to the time-frame specified. However we cannot guarantee an exact time due to our logistics and Auckland traffic.

Can I Click & Collect?Yes we offer click & collect if your suburb is not part of our delivery area or if pick up is a better option for you. Please select that option on checkout.

What time can I Click & Collect?Click & collect is available 5 days a week. Weekdays: Between 12pm and 7pm *Weekends: Please note that Click & Collect will not be available outside of the above listed times.

I need my order to be delivered at a specific time.Unfortunately, we are not able to give you an exact time for your delivery, as our delivery drivers must follow a specific route in order to deliver all orders by the time listed above. You will be given an ETA via text message once your order is on the way.

What is the cost of delivery?Delivery is based on distance from St John’s. You can see your delivery cost on the checkout page.

What if nobody is home to accept the delivery?If someone is not there to accept the product, you will receive a phone call from your delivery driver, you will be able to direct your driver to leave your cake wherever you would like on your premises or with a neighbour. * Please note that if you are delivering a restaurant, hotel or hospital, it is your responsibility to ensure someone will be there to accept the delivery.As we do not offer a re-delivery service, if no one is home, and we are unable to contact you the driver will leave endeavour to leave your order in a safe place and text you to let you know it has arrived. At this point, Cakes Online ceases responsibility of your order and it's a race between you and a potential army of ants to reach them first!

What if I'm late to pick up my order?It is important that you please stick to your selected pick-up time to ensure that there is someone here to hand over your order. If you are not here by your selected pick-up time and have not successfully made contact with us, then you will need to collect your cake the next day. If not collected within 3 days we will dispose of your order. There will be no refunds.

Do you deliver to hotels, restaurants, businesses, hospitals or schools?We do offer delivery to all of the above. Please make sure someone will be accepting your order during our delivery time. Also make sure you provide us with a booking name, a recipient number and room number if applicable.

Where can I leave any delivery instructions?You are able to add delivery instructions in the note section on our cart page.

Do you offer customise cake or can we alter the flavours/decorations listed on your website?We are unable to make any changes or customisations to theproduct range that is listed on our website. Email us at hello@cakesonline.co.nzin regards to large cakes or cupcakes order.

Do you have Gluten Free options?Unfortunately we do not offer gluten free options at this stage.

Do your products contain nuts?Most of our cakes contain nuts or traces of nuts. If you’re orderingfor someone with allergies, we recommend reading the full productdescription for ingredients and whether the product contains nuts orsimply traces of nuts. We cannot cater for a nut free allergy as we have nuts within our bakery.

What size cake do you have available?We offer three sizes which increase in diameter. The height of our cakes is between 4-5 inches depending on the top decorations. All three sizes are not available for all cakes, we only offer the sizes listed in the dropdown bar of that specific product. Gift – 4-inch diameter (serves 4) Classic – 6-inch diameter (serves 12) Large – 8-inch diameter (serves 24)

How do I store my cake?We do not recommend storing your cake or cupcakes in the fridge, our cake is best consumed when stored in a cool, dry place. If you refrigerate your cake and consume your cake right away, this will cause the cake to harden and dry out. Whilst our cakes are best consumed on the same day of delivery, if you wish to consume your cake the day following delivery, please refrigerate your cake overnight in our packaging and let it sit in a cool, dry place 5-6 hours prior to consumption.

Are your cakes Halal or contain alcohol/animal fat?All our cakes DO NOT contain alcohol or animal fat within the cake, frosting and decorations.

Is your cake dairy free/eggless?All our cakes have eggs and dairy (butter/milk/buttermilk)

Are you council registered?We are an MPI registered business under a custom Food Control Plan. Our parent company is The Little Cake Kitchen. Cakes Online is a trading name of The Little Cake Kitchen.
